When reflecting on our long-term strategy and pondering the innovation behind our products and solutions, we are thankful to our clients, partners and other stakeholders. In fact, RGA is positioned today because of our 50 years of progress through working together to track industry trends, explore possibilities, and pioneer achievements.
From our earliest days, we developed innovative techniques using telephone interviews (which to some, may seem archaic) and personal interactions with policyholders to save clients money and improve their underwriting quality. We’ve used data and analytics to develop facultative business, which has allowed us to develop close relationships with our insurance partners and help them provide financial protection to their customers.
Global growth
Over the years, RGA has grown its innovation and diversification on a global scale. For example, our first non-U.S. office opened in Canada in 1992, and the company now has more than 30 offices worldwide. And, in 1995, the foundation of RGA’s Global Financial Solutions began, which currently consists of some of our most complex product lines, including asset-intensive, longevity, and capital solutions.
Honored with recognitions
We are also thankful to achieve awards, recognitions, and honors over the years. RGA was recently named #1 on NMG Consulting’s 2022 Global All Respondent Business Capability Index, representing the 12th consecutive year we’ve received this honor. We were also named to Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies this year, reflecting, in part, our reputation with clients.
Managing risks, yet keen on solutions
Needless to say, RGA is positioned for many more years of innovation and product development. We will continue to take – and manage – risks as well as maintain a keen focus on next generation solutions, specifically those that meet the demands of the uninsured and underinsured. And we will empower all of our global teams to provide differentiated offerings to our clients, and as a result, their policyholders.
